Responsibilities of the Director, Pensions Finance
Leadership and Management
- Provide leadership to the Client Payments & Taxation and Trust Fund Accounting teams
- Support and back-up the Director of Corporate Finance, and oversee corporate functions such as facilities, as required
- Lead change initiatives, ensure staff adaptability, establish relationships across divisions, and provide subject-level expertise in committees and projects
- Lead a high-performing, collaborative finance team to deliver value-added processes and business advisory services
Financial Operations and Controls
- Establish and monitor an effective system of internal controls
- Lead initiatives aimed at improving financial performance and operational efficiency and effectiveness
- Demonstrate knowledge of the organization’s risks and opportunities
- Ensure compliance with legislation and government reporting requirements
