The Director of Sales and Marketing Analytics is a strategic leader responsible for delivering actionable insights across sales performance and marketing effectiveness. This role blends financial discipline, sales strategy, and advanced marketing analytics to optimize revenue generation, campaign effectiveness, and customer lifecycle value. The director will lead a team of analysts and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment between business units and corporate objectives.

Location: You will be based in our Etobicoke office, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.

Reporting Relationship : You will report to VP, Data Analytics.

Your Moneris Career – What you’ll do

Sales Analytics

  • Provide strategic insights and recommendation to Sales cycle performance, optimization, and channel effectiveness to maximize ROI.
  • Lead analytics for SMB, LAKA, BMO/RBC, and Distribution channels, ensuring data accuracy and actionable insights that directly impact revenue.
  • Build scalable models and dashboards to monitor pipeline health, forecast revenue, and guide strategic decisions.
  • Apply predictive and prescriptive analytics to uncover growth opportunities and optimize sales efficiency.
  • Partner with Sales leadership to track KPIs, reforecast targets, and deliver insights that drive quota attainment and revenue acceleration.
  • Prioritize analytics requests to ensure high-value initiatives receive timely support.
  • Collaborate closely with the Finance team to set and review annual sales targets, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals, and proactively respond to any necessary adjustments at mid-year based on performance data and changing market conditions.

Marketing Analytics

  • Provide strategic recommendations to Marketing on channel selection, campaign optimization, and budget allocation to maximize performance and ROI.
  • Oversee campaign performance across product launches, branding, upsell, and targeting strategies, including mixed media modeling to optimize ad spend with ROAS and ROI target considerations.
  • Support integrated digital marketing strategies across paid and owned media to drive conversion and revenue lift.
  • Monitor consumer behavior, market trends, and competitive landscape to inform strategic direction and enhance marketing effectiveness to inform high-ROI marketing tactics.
  • Collaborate with Technology, Sales, and Marketing to enhance digital enrollment and customer experience for revenue growth.
  • Establish closed-loop analytics with Sales to measure conversion impact and refine marketing tactics for higher revenue yield.

Leadership & Strategy

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing analytics team focused on delivering measurable revenue outcomes.
  • Drive the integration of AI and machine learning technologies to enhance sales and marketing analytics capabilities.
  • Utilize AI-driven models to predict customer behavior, optimize marketing campaigns, and improve sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to ensure the seamless integration of AI tools and platforms.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning to continuously innovate and improve analytics processes.
  • Lead initiatives to train and upskill the analytics team in AI and machine learning techniques.
  • Drive alignment between Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Product teams to ensure analytics initiatives support revenue-centric growth targets.
  • Support go-to-market programs and campaigns that generate engagement and measurable revenue impact.
  • Manage the analytics budget with a focus on ROI and contribute to strategic planning that prioritizes revenue-driving initiatives.

Your Moneris Career – What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree (MBA) is an asset.
  • 10+ years of experience in B2B analytics, with a focus on channel/partner marketing and sales strategy.
  • 5–7 years of leadership experience managing high-performing teams.
  • Experience in the payments or financial services industry is an asset.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in modern data stack tools including:
    • Snowflake for cloud data warehousing
    • Google Analytics andMarketing Cloud for campaign performance and customer behavior tracking
    • BigQuery for scalable data processing
    • Salesforce for CRM and sales performance management
    • Power BI , Tableau, Sigma for dashboarding and visualization
    • SQL for data querying and modeling
  • Experience integrating data science into business analytics workflows.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, quality control, and compliance standards.
