Job Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for testing and validating the systems that enable autonomous driving (AD) of vehicles, robots, or other platforms. The main focus of the position will include but is not limited to:
- Verifying the hardware and software setup of the platform
- Conducting on-road tests and data logging
- Analyzing data to identify issues
- Resolving issues and enhancing overall AD performance
This position will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and optimize the system operation strategies, integrate sensors and actuators, and ensure the safe and reliable functioning of AD systems. In addition, the position will plan, execute, and coordinate New Mobility for/with internal and external departments, (supplier) companies, and academia. This is a 9-month contract position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Evaluation of technologies and product designs with compliance to scientific principles, engineering principles, company standards, customer requirements, and related specifications.
- Support the development of innovative components and modules from the initial concept phase through the complete development process including design engineering, validation, prototyping, testing, and evaluation of the proposed production capable process and business case.
