Accountabilities: How You Will Make an Impact
To deliver nuclear safety expertise to power generation utilities and other customers. The specific accountabilities of the position are as follows:
- Conduct safety analysis using state-of-the-art nuclear safety analysis computer software
- Development of new analytical methods and models
- The preparation of technical documents in support of regulatory submissions
- Understand and assess client problems and determine appropriate means of solution
- Manage projects and act as team lead where appropriate
- Interface effectively with other staff on multi-disciplinary projects
- Stay current with developments within your field of expertise
- Other duties as assigned
What You Need to Succeed
- Requires as a minimum, Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Nuclear Engineering and/or Engineering Physics. Completion of a Masters Degree or PhD would be preferred.
- Minimum of three to five years’ experience in the area of dispersion and dose assessments.
- Preference for candidates with working experience in dispersion and dose safety analysis industry toolsets (e.g., IMPACT, ADDAM, URI, MACCS).
