Who you are

  • 4+ years of experience in Finance systems, ERP project management, or Finance process optimization
  • Proven track record of leading at least one full-cycle ERP implementation, ideally in a scale-up or start-up environment
  • Strong understanding of accounting processes and compliance standards (IFRS and local European GAAPs)
  • Familiarity with local accounting tools such as Xero, Netvisor, and DATEV
  • Experience working in multi-entity and multi-country environments
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills including regular alignment with senior management
  • Fluency in English (German is a plus)
  • Nice to Have: Experience with treasury management systems such as Embat

What the job involves

  • We are looking for an ERP Project Lead – Finance & Accounting (m/f/d) to take ownership of the financial ERP implementation across all entities. This role will be central in leading the rollout of Oracle NetSuite, ensuring the system is designed for scalability, compliance, and efficiency while serving as the key link between Finance, external accountants, and implementation partners
  • Lead the end-to-end Oracle NetSuite ERP implementation project across all entities
  • Support with the selection of an external implementation partner
  • Gather requirements from Finance and translate them into system workflows
  • Ensure process harmonization and documentation across countries and entities
  • Design core finance workflows (GL, AP/AR, intercompany, fixed assets, closing, reporting) together with the Finance team
  • Build reporting, compliance, and audit-readiness into the system from day one
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and partners to deliver a smooth rollout
  • Provide training and guidance to internal users during rollout and stabilization
