Our client is a premier boutique law firm based in the heart of the financial district. They are currently seeking a Family Lawyer with a minimum of 10 years of experience in family law matters to work on building their own practice while expertly serving sophisticated, high net worth clients with Family Law matters involving support, property, and parenting issues.
What you will need to succeed
To be considered for this position, you must have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in a law firm dealing with Family Law matters. You will work on building your own practice while serving high net worth clients with issues involving support, property, and parenting. You must also have excellent knowledge of contested divorces, custody and access disputes, child and spousal support, property division, and the equalization of net family property. Experience in division of assets and finances is also required.
You should be able to work independently or under the supervision of senior lawyers as part of an established and growing team. Strong analytical, communication, and client management skills are essential. An entrepreneurial spirit, strong academic credentials, and a commitment to providing outstanding, cost-effective, and responsive legal services are also required.
Must be a member of the Ontario Bar in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario. Key success factors include a strong work ethic, self-motivation, and attention to detail.
