Position Summary
Ile Des Chenes is a small town of 1,500, approximately 10 minutes outside of the Winnipeg Perimeter. This location qualifies for rural billing with a 5% differential. The community has two good schools and offers good housing options both in town and in the surrounding rural area. This is a fee-for-service clinic, and incoming physicians can expect to establish a good practice quickly. The practice is office-based, with some evening and weekend hours. There is no hospital commitment or on-call requirement.
Qualifications
- Must be eligible for registration and licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba.
- Proficiency in both official languages is essential for target and designated bilingual positions.
- Ability to respect and promote a culturally diverse population, given the region’s diversity.
- Demonstrated ability to meet the physical and mental demands of the job.
- Ability to respect confidentiality across various mediums, including paper and electronic formats.
- Good work and attendance record.
