What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
– Install, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on specified instrumentation in the field
– Schedule and modify customer visits based on their needs and financial impact
– Complete and submit daily field service reports and weekly expense reports
– Maintain spare parts inventory and service tool calibration according to company guidelines
– Provide professional customer support and instruction on equipment operation and maintenance
What is Required (Qualifications):
– Minimum of 3 years of previous field service experience or relevant experience in Electronics, Fine Mechanics, or Optics
– BS in Electronics, Industrial Mechanics, or related fields preferred
– Theoretical understanding of basic electromechanical, electronic, and optical systems
– Strong verbal and written communication skills
– Strong computer skills with the ability to obtain specific certifications as required
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
– Previous experience in a field service role within the medical technology sector
– Additional certifications related to electronics or mechanical systems
– Experience with customer service in a technical environment
– Familiarity with troubleshooting techniques and approaches
