We are looking for a results-oriented Lead Business Analyst to join our team and support business analysis across all finance-related projects and services. This role is responsible for proactively enabling business solutions that drive efficiency, support strategic goals, and ensure high service quality across the finance portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and lead business requirements definition for finance-related initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate business needs into clear business and functional requirements, including use cases, process flows, traceability matrices, and mock-ups
  • Ensure implementation of IT solutions aligns with business objectives and utilizes full system capabilities
  • Drive system automation to reduce manual work and improve process efficiency and data quality
  • Facilitate prioritization and decision-making with business stakeholders
  • Manage and mentor business analysts; support team development and performance management
  • Maintain alignment with IT leadership and business stakeholders to define investment strategies and value delivery
  • Develop business case justifications and perform cost-benefit analyses
  • Ensure enforcement of BA standards, processes, and quality measures across IT deliveries
  • Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives for IT processes
  • Perform other duties as required to support delivery excellence

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with core financial processes, including Financial closing, Cash settlement, Accruals, Other operational finance activities
  • Strong background in accounting and/or Finance Operations
  • 10+ years of experience in financial systems implementation
  • Minimum 5 years in the Insurance industry with a focus on Finance
  • 2+ years of experience managing business analysis teams
  • 3+ years of experience with SAP FS-CD and FS-GL on HANA
  • Proven success in large-scale project implementations
  • Experience in technology implementation and support of business change
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing IT professionals and contractors
  • Lean Six Sigma experience is a plus
  • Strong business acumen and ability to align technology solutions with strategic business goals
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across stakeholders and leadership teams
  • Ability to thrive in high-demand, multi-tasking environments
