Description
It is an exciting opportunity for an experienced SAP Functional Consultant to join a dynamic team and act as a key bridge between business analysts, stakeholders, and technical development teams. You will analyze business needs, design and configure SAP solutions, and ensure seamless integration between processes and applications. This position requires expertise in SAP CML and FICO, coupled with strong knowledge of SAP configuration and functional leadership. The ideal candidate should have a collaborative mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in an Agile project environment are essential for success. This position offers a competitive base salary plus bonus and benefits as well as room for growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to capture, analyze, and translate business requirements into SAP functional specifications.
- Configure SAP modules (CML, Treasury, FICO, or Deposits Management) to support both new projects and existing processes.
- Partner with development teams to define and validate technical solutions aligned with functional needs.
- Provide end-to-end support for SAP projects, including scoping, estimation, testing, and documentation.
- Manage production support activities by troubleshooting system issues, identifying root causes, and applying fixes or configuration changes.
- Contribute to testing by designing test cases, supporting UAT, and validating end-to-end business processes.
- Ensure adherence to established SDLC, change management, and project governance standards.
- Document configuration, enhancements, and cross-functional dependencies to maintain system integrity and knowledge sharing.
Skills and Requirements
- 8+ years of experience providing functional and business consultancy.
- Minimum of five years experience in SAP projects, including functional lead responsibilities.
- At least two years of experience in SAP CML and FICO.
- Strong background in the financial services sector, ideally with experience in mortgage, loan, or deposit operations.
- Excellent knowledge of SAP configuration, standards, and system structures.
- Demonstrated ability to work in an Agile environment.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field with a strong focus on information technology.
