Due to the upcoming retirement of one of our valued GPs we are pleased to offer the opportunity for a GP to join our thriving practice in rural north Suffolk. As a practice we pride ourselves on staying true to the values of family medicine whilst providing a supportive and inclusive working environment.

We are looking for a salaried GP with view to partnership to join us for 6-8* sessions per week, however we are happy to negotiate based on individual circumstances. We welcome applications from all levels of experienced practitioners, including newly qualified GPs. As a practice we are committed to supporting our staff’s professional journey.

*8 sessions a week is our FTE.

About us

We are a dispensing practice operating over two sites (full time at Fressingfield and part time at Stradbroke) and have an excellent relationship with our patient population of around 6500, dispensing for approximately 95% of them.

Our practice comprises a strong and diverse team of 3 GP Partners, Nurse Practitioners, Practice Paramedics, Practice Pharmacist, a Pharmacy Technician, Dispensers, an experienced Nursing team and an efficient and experienced team of care co-coordinators, administrators and secretaries.

We consistently achieve highly in QOF in comparison to the national average at year end and were rated “Good” by CQC. Our patients regularly report positive responses via the Friends and Family test and review us to be a good, well-organised and efficient practice.

We utilise SystmOne and Ardens to support our practice and patients.

Home visits are usually undertaken by our practice Paramedic Team, and we process most of our appointment requests via Reception over the phone. All our ‘on the day’ appointments are initially via phone, and clinicians triage any face to face appointments required. We also have a mix of planned face to face and telephone appointments over the day. Our GPs are required to work sessions at both Fressingfield and Stradbroke over the week.
