Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Hitachi Vantara Solution Architect to support upcoming initiatives for our private sector client. This is a strategic, hands-on role focused on designing and implementing enterprise-grade solutions using Hitachi technologies. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, strong client-facing skills, and a consultative mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and design scalable solutions using Hitachi Vantara technologies, including:
- Lead technical discussions with stakeholders to define solution requirements
- Collaborate with infrastructure and cloud teams to integrate Hitachi solutions into broader enterprise environments
- Provide guidance on best practices, performance optimization, and security compliance
- Support implementation, testing, and troubleshooting phases
- Document architecture and configuration standards
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in solution architecture or enterprise infrastructure roles
- Proven hands-on experience with Hitachi Vantara technologies
- Strong understanding of storage architecture, data protection, and hybrid cloud integration
- Experience with enterprise clients in regulated environments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
Security Requirements
- Must hold Secret-level Government of Canada security clearance, or be eligible to obtain it
- Type: Independent Consultant (Contract)
- Duration: 6 months minimum, with potential for extension
- Location: Remote (Canada-based only)
