Intermediate Interior Designer / Project Manager
Freelance | Hybrid | Toronto
We’re looking for a talented and self-directed designer with 3–6 years of experience in high-end interiors to join our boutique studio. This is a freelance, project-based role with potential to grow into a full-time salaried position.
You’ll work directly with the principal designer on all aspects of our projects—from concept and space planning to install and styling—while also managing timelines, vendors, and client communications.
Responsibilities:
• Develop moodboards, material palettes, and presentation decks
• Draft drawings and floor plans (AutoCAD/SketchUp)
• Source vintage and custom furnishings
• Manage procurement and trade coordination
• Conduct site visits and oversee installations
Qualifications:
• 3–6 years of interior design experience
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite
• Excellent organization and client communication skills
• Strong aesthetic sensibility and attention to detail
• Comfortable managing multiple projects independently
Compensation:
• Hourly Rate: $60–$70/hour, depending on experience
• Option to move to salaried role ($70–85K + bonus) after trial period
