Responsibilities include:
- Development of frontend and backend, unit testing, and implementation of web applications to meet business requirements.
- Gathering project requirements, handling priorities, and producing delivery estimates.
- Planning and allocating work to meet project deadlines.
- Organizing team/code reviews and maintaining code quality and best practices across the frontend team.
- Supervising the creation of intuitive, robust, and reusable user interfaces using Spring frameworks.
- Engaging in the entire product development cycle to understand business objectives and create client-centric solutions.
- Ensuring the test environment is maintained to guarantee code quality.
- Producing high-quality solutions to enhance or simplify existing processes.
- Encouraging best practices and workflows organization-wide.
- Contributing to team discussions and stand-ups.
- Mentoring and leading other developers and sharing knowledge with the broader team.
Competencies required:
- Advanced Java Concepts
- Microsoft SQL Server 2019
Experience: 8-10 years in web application development using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, RESTful services, and microservice architecture.
Essential Skills:
- 8+ years in Java, Spring Boot, Angular, JavaScript, jQuery, Oracle/SQL databases, Unix/Linux.
- Proficiency in SQL and Unix.
- Experience in AngularJS, build and deployment tools like Jenkins, Maven/Ant.
- Experience creating build/test scripts and configuring CI/CD environments.
- Hands-on in unit testing, technical documentation, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a matrix hierarchy.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of multi-threading and batch programming.
