OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Manager, Accounting Services, the Senior Financial Analyst – Commodity Taxes will provide taxation analysis, scenario analysis and sound strategic advice in the management and monitoring of the operations of the Accounting Services Section within the Financial Services Division. The Senior Financial Analyst – Commodity Taxes is responsible for the effective operation of the City’s commodity tax administration functions and providing interpretation and application of commodity tax rules and regulations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for providing support and oversight in the preparation of complex annual and monthly commodity tax filings. The Senior Financial Analyst – Commodity Taxes will act as support to the Manager for the oversight of service contract agreements, reconciliations,
