*** PLEASE NOTE, THIS IS A HANDS-ON SUPERVISOR ROLE. NOT AN OFFICE ROLE. YOU WILL BE OUT ON THE DRILL WITH THE CREW.
• Communicates regularly with the Premium and Client Engineers and provides work instructions to the MPD personnel, rig crew, and client representatives onsite.
• Collaborates with the project engineer for technical downhole knowledge and assistance when needed.
• Responsible for writing, reviewing, and approving MPD procedures onsite related to MPD engineered processes.
• Interacts with third-party service providers on the rig, such as mud loggers, mud companies, MWD, and directional services.
• Participates in pre- and post-job meetings with clients.
• Ensures equipment is functional and inventory lists are complete before sending equipment to the location, including green tagging the manifold.
• Provides relevant information to the project engineer for hydraulic modeling related to MPD operations, such as rollovers, pill displacements, tripping operations, and MPD connections.
