The NPI-LCE Test Engineer will be responsible for the development of automated test solutions for our photonic integration modules and assemblies. These test solutions will be used during NPI and production release phases of our projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Test Engineer will be responsible for developing test systems from the concept review stage to the final test system release to production.
Design Tasks:
- Generate test concepts for electro-optical modules and assemblies
- Document the test concept by working closely with the R&D department
- Document the Production Test Requirements and communicate to the product designers and other test engineers
- Design and document the test hardware and software required to meet all the test specifications
Development and Deployment Tasks:
- Work with other test engineers while writing the software test steps and sequences
- Ensure that the test system meets the design specifications
- Work with production engineering during the test system
