Job Description:
The Nurse Educator will be responsible for developing and implementing training programs for new staff members and ensuring ongoing education for current staff. This includes conducting new hire orientation, tracking education requirements, conducting fit testing and Tb testing, and facilitating various trainings such as initial PCC training, Plan of Correction, and Med-Tech trainings. The ideal candidate will be motivated to develop the ideal system for training new staff to ensure the best care is being provided for our residents.

- Staff Development: Med-Tech, CNA, LPN, RN, Nurse Unit Manager
- Lead new hire orientation
- Education tracking
- Nursing mentorship
- Ability to perform respirator fit testing
- Tb testing and tracking: New hire and annual
- Deliver Annual Trainings
- Plan of Correction Training
Minimum Requirements:
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan
- Previous experience as Unit Manager or ADON in Skilled Nursing Facility
