Currently, we have an opening for an Oilfield Survey Crew Chief – Fort McMurray , ideally with experience in the Oilfield Survey sector and a desire to grow with an innovative company.
The Work
- Survey wellsites, pipeline right-of-ways, pipeline integrity, and construction projects across Western Canada.
- Willingness and ability to travel, with shifts lasting up to 21 days.
- Work outdoors in all seasons and weather conditions.
- Follow safety protocols.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to survey assistants.
- Prepare clear, concise, and accurate field notes, records, and calculations.
What You Bring To The Table
- Strong focus on building relationships, both internal and external to CORE.
- A desire for excellence in all tasks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to liaise effectively with clients.
- Creativity.
- A degree or diploma from a technical college in Geomatics.
- Experience leading an oilfield survey crew.
- Experience performing legal surveys within the Alberta Township System.
- Experience working on industrial construction sites and in remote bush conditions.
- Experience with drones is an asset.
