Bon Appetit is the category leader in the production and distribution of premium baked goods. As a result of our continuous expansion, we are searching for a highly effective on-site Information Technology Manager.
We seek an experienced and motivated individual with a detailed knowledge of industry best practices, a professional track record of effective technical management, information analysis, and a thorough understanding of computer hardware and software systems.
Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing and ensuring the effective and efficient operation of computing systems and equipment.
- Maintaining information technology strategies.
- Managing and motivating the IT staff.
- Recruiting, training employees, communicating job expectations, and monitoring performance.
- Ensuring data security, network access, and backup systems.
- Overseeing the annual IT budget and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Creating and maintaining IT policies for employees and business partners.
- Monitoring daily operations, including server hardware, software, and operating systems.
- Coordinating technology installations, upgrades, and maintenance.
- Selecting and purchasing new and replacement hardware and software when necessary.
- Testing, troubleshooting, and modifying information systems for optimal operation.
- Generating performance reports for operating systems.
- Ensuring all IT activities comply with applicable laws, codes, and regulations.
- Evaluating technology risks and developing network recovery plans.
- Staying updated with technological advances and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience as an IT Manager.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field from a four-year college or university.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Operating Systems, Microsoft Office, ERP & MRP Systems, and barcode-based inventory systems.
- Experience with computer networks, network administration, and installation.
- Proficiency in computer hardware, cabling, wireless technology, and IT security.
- Experience with Mobile Applications, PC & RF Scanning terminals.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
