Role:
We seek a dynamic Operations Director to lead our Montreal manufacturing and engineering operations. This key leadership role involves directly influencing profitability, operational excellence, and business growth. You will oversee departments including production, materials, engineering, and facilities, driving strategic initiatives aligned with our business goals.
Additionally, overseeing engineering provides the opportunity to shape our product development strategy, contributing to our future success. Key responsibilities include:
- · Drive Operational Performance: Lead Montreal operations to maximize profitability through optimizing production, managing costs, and ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery.
- · Accelerate Product Development: Collaborate with sales and engineering to streamline manufacturing readiness and support innovation for faster market introduction of new products.
- · Champion Continuous Improvement: Use ATS (ATS Business Model) to implement lean initiatives and process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
- · Build & Develop Teams: Foster a high-performing culture through targeted training, strong leadership, and clear accountability.
- · Strategic Collaboration & Compliance: Ensure operations align with company strategy, adhere to policies and regulations, and foster cross-functional partnerships.
Additional Requirements:
- University degree
- Bi-lingual in English and French is a benefit
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading multi-disciplinary teams, managing schedules and priorities
