What You Will Do
Our Ottawa and Halifax offices are seeking undergraduate students to join as Full-Time in Winter 2026 within our Risk Services practice. As a GRCS Analytics – Data Analyst , you will:
- Work closely with clients to understand key business issues.
- Gather and analyze requirements to develop impactful recommendations.
- Utilize advanced analytical techniques to solve complex problems.
- Handle large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
- Leverage technologies and tools, including generative AI, to deliver insights.
- Develop expertise in analytics, data engineering, visualization, automation, and data governance.
- Create algorithms, models, and perform testing to solve problems.
- Run descriptive queries and present formatted results.
- Contribute to presentation materials for stakeholder discussions.
- Bridge technical and business needs effectively.
- Perform quantitative data analysis.
- Communicate insights clearly to peers, clients, and stakeholders.

What You Bring To The Role

- Experience working with messy, real-world data.
- Skills in data quality, cleansing, and management.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI), and effective prompt engineering with generative AI tools.
- Experience in cross-disciplinary teams tackling ambiguous data problems.
- Knowledge of data governance, quality, and controls.
- Client-facing or consulting experience.
- Ability to communicate insights to non-technical audiences.
