Who you are
- 4+ years experience in Partnerships, Channel, or Business Development roles at a SaaS company (Shopify ecosystem experience highly preferred)
- Strong understanding of ecommerce and Shopify’s and Shopware’s partner ecosystem (agencies, vendors, solutions)
- Proven track record of building and scaling strategic partnerships that drive revenue
- Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth SaaS environment
- Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration abilities
- Experience working directly with Shopify Plus agencies or technology partners
- Background in ecommerce, martech, or analytics SaaS products
- Familiarity with PRMs (Partner Relationship Management tools)
What the job involves
- We’re looking for an experienced and exceptional Partnerships & Channel Manager to own and grow our DACH relationships
- Ideal candidate would be located either in Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt or Cologne region
- You’ll be responsible for identifying, developing, and scaling partnerships with agencies, solution providers, and other ecosystem players
- The main focus will be on the Shopify and Shopware platform ecosystems
- As a top priority, and requiring significant seniority, you will be working directly into the Shopify organization and its representatives in the Sales and Solutions teams in Berlin, Frankfurt, Munich and beyond as well as the Shopware team in Shöppingen
- Markets such as Eastern Europe might fall under your remit
- This is a highly cross-functional role, working closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to drive revenue through partnerships and strengthen our position in the market
- You will be targeted on KPIs such as closed new business as well as upsell opportunities
- Build and manage relationships with Shopify-focused agencies, consultants, and technology partners to drive referral business
- Manage the Shopify relationship in DACH to drive mutually beneficial results
- Identify co-marketing, co-selling, and integration opportunities with Shopify and ecosystem players
- Negotiate partnership agreements and create scalable frameworks for partner success
- Develop joint go-to-market strategies with partners, including campaigns, webinars, and events
- Attend ecommerce events as well as conduct on-site business across DACH including extensive corporate entertaining duties
- Enable and support channel partners to position and sell our solutions effectively
- Collaborate with Product to identify integration opportunities that add value to merchants on Shopify
- Track, analyze, and report on partner performance, pipeline, and revenue impact
- Assist in generating upsell opportunities via channel relationships
- Work as a facilitator between Nosto CSM teams and Agency Implementation partners
