In addition, Yee Hong offers four campuses of managed care, a hospice residence, and a wide range of community-based senior and caregiver support services. Through this comprehensive network, the organization serves more than 15,000 individuals annually across the Greater Toronto Area.

Program Aide, Day Program – Casual

Under the overall direction of the Program Manager/Program Coordinator, participates in the planning and implementation of appropriate activities and high quality services to clients of the program in a safe and supportive environment, ensuring clients’ physical, mental, social and emotional needs are supported.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an approved Personal Support Worker course in Ontario or equivalent

  • Previous experience in a community setting an asset

  • Experience in geriatric rehabilitation an asset

  • Completion of a C.P.R. (i.e., completed within one year period)

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience in supporting(small and large groups)

  • Computer proficiency (MS Office, Social Media, etc.)

  • Ability to communicate inChinese

  • Must be able to work some evenings or weekends on occasion for special events/programs.
