The position is for a Developer within the GRT-Liquidity Risk group and entails taking on a technical role within the Liquidity Risk team. The incumbent is responsible for providing efficient and cost-effective technical solutions across a mix of in-house and vendor platforms that aligns with the streamlining initiative of the Liquidity Risk group. The candidate must be able to interact with numerous internal teams including Operations, Data Capture and Application support groups. The incumbent will have IT experience and a strong technical background. The individual must be self-driven, think proactively and be able to provide guidance as the role requires.

- Participate in development of cost effective and robust applications.
- Provide technical support to applications in production and during user acceptance testing.
- Participate in systems implementation, planning, and development.
- Provide technical guidance to other team members.
- Manage or work within cross-functional teams to deliver BAU or Project initiatives.

- Hands-on experience with all phases of SDLC
- Experience working with large volumes of data
- Experience working with Java/J2EE. Familiarity with multiple external Java frameworks is a plus (Spring, Struts, Log4J, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with RDBMS Systems Server (Postgres preferred)
- Experience using Linux or Unix, including related scripting
- Experience using source control systems (GIT preferred)
- Nifi
- Major transport protocols: FTP, SFTP and other SSH connectivity tools.
- Experience working with and configuring vendor applications (ex. Realiti) is a strong plus
- Knowledge of financial instruments.
- Experienced in application / solutions architecture
- A recognized under-graduate degree in computer science, engineering, or related discipline.
