About the Team & Business Line:
Proprietary software solutions and innovation are at the core of what differentiates Citco in the alternative investment space. As a core member of our Test team, you will work with dedicated professionals to ensure our clients maintain access to their critical information assets while keeping Citco ahead of industry trends.
Qualifications
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- 3+ years of Quality Assurance experience
- 2+ years of experience in test automation
- 1+ years of experience testing in an agile cross-functional team
- 1+ years of experience working with Node and JavaScript
- Experience with CICD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, or CodePipeline
- Experienced with API testing
- Experience with Cypress and Playwright
- Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript and Python
- Experience with source code management tools, GIT preferred
- Overall experience with REST, messaging, and relational databases (NoSQL is a plus)
- Familiarity with Project Management and Test Management tools such as JIRA and Xray
- Must be self-motivated and driven
- Demonstrated skills in creativity, technical analysis, problem solving, communication, and client service
- Knowledge of the financial industry is highly desirable
- Experience with AWS is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to convey information clearly and concisely in a team setting
- Capacity to work well with other engineers and business representatives
- Willingness to learn new skills and contribute to a team culture centered on continuous improvement
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities and meet tight deadlines

Your Role:
You will be working in a cross-functional team, using agile methodologies to build applications and services for the financial services industry. You will contribute to overall CICD and ensure quality is maintained through early and frequent use of both manual and automated testing.
- You will participate and contribute in all team activities such as sprint planning, daily scrums, and retrospectives.
- Plan, create, and execute test cases applicable to user stories to ensure coverage for CitcoOne products.
- Work closely with other engineers and product owners to define testing needs.
- Where applicable, thoroughly test products within Sprints.
- Identify opportunities to implement test automation.
- Build and execute automated system and performance tests for APIs and web applications.
- Be comfortable with different testing frameworks and programming languages such as NodeJS, Java, and Python.
- Select the appropriate testing approach, manual or automated, based on the case.
- Help determine and ensure test metrics are met.
- Perform reviews and ensure the quality of the team’s work.
