Description

Under the responsibility of the General Manager – Canada, the Quality and Compliance Director is responsible for managing Quality Assurance, the audit schedule and certifications. He evaluates the services offered by the organization, with the aim of constantly improving the quality of products and services. He is also responsible for creating, maintaining and auditing the application of company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Act as PRQ (Person Responsible for Quality)
  • Quality System Management (QMS) AS9100
  • Ensure that we support sites in their compliance with TCCA, FAA, EASA airworthiness laws, rules and standards;
  • Lead the standardization of best practices within the framework of the management of key processes and AS9110, TCCA, FAA, EASA systems;
  • Management of governance and achievement of indicators (KPI);
  • Coordinate the quality processes;
  • Ensure compliance with laws and regulations (corruption, harassment, modern slavery, data management, health and safety, export controls, etc.) and ensure the establishment, maintenance and enforcement of company policies;
  • Carry out internal audits and manage external audits;
  • Provide training and ensure staff competence;
  • Advise and audit management on the changes to be made (sites in France, the United States and Canada);
  • Assume any other responsibilities compatible with his position, and which is entrusted to him by his immediate superior.

Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of TCAA, FAA, EASA regulations;
  • Hold a university degree in engineering, administration or any other relevant combination. OR has college education and equivalent experience;
  • Have a minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience, particularly in a similar position, in the aeronautical industry;
  • Have excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English;
  • Be an ISO9001 or AS9100 certified auditor (an asset)
  • Knowledge of AS9110 and AS9120 standards (an asset)
  • Interest in a role focused on process optimization and development of operational tools;
  • Experience in auditing and compliance management;
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and a vehicle (an asset).
