Position Summary: The Relief Pharmacist assists the Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist in all aspects of Pharmacy Operations.
What You’ll Do:
- Ensure excellent patient experience and locate merchandise on the sales floor.
- Develop strong working relationships with Professional Services District Managers and other stakeholders.
- Accept prescriptions and refill requests from Customers, Doctors, or Hospitals.
- Ensure prescriptions are filled accurately, efficiently, and safely, and counsel patients on pharmaceutical products.
- Ensure proper storage of pharmaceutical products.
- Follow OBWs/SOPs and operate all pharmacy equipment.
- Protect patient privacy and follow provincial regulations.
- Provide eligible services like medication reviews and injections.
- Travel to various locations as per schedule.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers within the store.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Age 16 or older.
- Pharmacist License (secondary permit in Alberta: CA_APA – Additional Prescribing Authorization).
