We’re looking for a resourceful R&D Software Developer to help us grow. As a Software Developer, you will transform ideas into reliable software quickly, using rapid prototyping to solve real-world challenges.

This is you
You’re a fast-moving developer who thrives on transforming abstract ideas into functional, high-impact software. You work independently with minimal direction, delivering AI-driven solutions in rapid iterations and aren’t afraid to jump in and share what you learn with the team. You care about writing clean, tested code and value collaboration through code reviews and constructive feedback. You stay on top of emerging tools like Copilot and Power BI, and bring a startup mindset to problem-solving, adaptability, and continuous improvement. You demonstrate ZIROs core values of accountability, courage, passion, innovation, selflessness, and use good judgement.
What you will do
- Understand problem descriptions and design solutions to address them.
- Develop quality code and incorporate automated tests into your code.
- Perform peer code reviews through PR reviews and testing.
- Participate in grooming to provide estimates and identify problems early.
- Stay current on software development technologies and best practices.
- Contributing to supporting/improving CI and tooling.
- Investigate issues escalated from support and product teams as well as monitoring alerts.
What you need to do it
- Experience. You have 3-5 years of experience within software development, programming and rapid development. AI experience strongly preferred. Background in startups strongly preferred.
- Technical Know-How. You have knowledge of Copilot, Copilot studio, Power BI and Python.
- Independence . You can learn new concepts quickly and teach yourself new skills.
- Communication . You enjoy working on a team and are a strong verbal and written communicator.
- Organization . You manage your time wisely and plan ahead to accomplish your tasks on time.
- Humility. You are open to feedback and coaching from management and team members.
- Reliability. You follow through on your commitments to your team and to yourself.
