Job Title: SAP FICO Functional Consultant – S/4HANA Record to Report (R2R)
Location: Canada
Job Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the design and configuration of SAP S/4HANA solutions for the Record to Report (R2R) processes.
• Develop and document detailed process maps, ensuring that financial processes such as general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, asset accounting, and financial close are optimized for efficiency and compliance.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and provide innovative, scalable solutions to improve R2R processes.
• Identify opportunities for automation and streamline the financial reporting process for faster month-end and year-end closing.
• End-to-End Financial Process Optimization:
• Implement and configure R2R processes such as general ledger (GL), financial close, tax reporting, intercompany reconciliations, and statutory reporting.
• Ensure seamless integration of financial processes with other SAP modules, including Controlling (CO), Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), and Human Resources (HR).
• Collaborate with finance, audit, and tax teams to ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory financial reporting requirements.
• Configure SAP S/4HANA to support financial processes, including general ledger accounting, financial reporting, asset accounting, and consolidation.
• Customize R2R workflows to meet specific business needs, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and process integrity.
• Implement enhancements and continuously improve the system to meet evolving business requirements and industry standards.
• Lead SAP R2R-related projects, including new implementations, upgrades, and enhancements, ensuring adherence to project timelines and objectives.
• Collaborate with project managers, technical teams, and external consultants to ensure successful delivery of R2R solutions.
• Provide post-go-live support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement for the R2R processes within SAP S/4HANA.
• Act as the subject matter expert for R2R, working closely with finance, controlling, procurement, and IT teams to ensure financial processes align with business objectives.
• Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and change management activities to drive user adoption and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with other functional teams to ensure alignment and seamless integration of financial processes across the organization.
• Experience leading SAP S/4HANA implementation projects in a global or large enterprise environment.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations, reporting standards, and compliance (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
