Myticas Consulting is seeking an experienced SAP FICO/RTR Lead for a long-term HYBRIDcontract with a major utility and energy client. This is a senior-level techo-functional role requiring a mix of deep functional finance expertise and strong technical capabilities within the SAP ecosystem. The position requires frequent travel (50–70%) to Winnipeg, MB, and the consultant may be based anywhere in Canada.
Project Scope:
The successful candidate will help develop methodologies, tools, and thought leadership in SAP Finance as part of a critical ERP initiative. The role requires strong hands-on knowledge of SAP Finance (FICO/RTR) and integration with other modules, along with experience in end-to-end implementations and strategic financial processes .
Key Responsibilities:

Lead SAP FICO/RTR workstream across implementation and integration efforts

Provide hands-on configuration and design of SAP Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, CO, Treasury, SAC-Planning, etc.)

Collaborate with business and technical teams to document requirements, define process flows, and ensure high-quality solution delivery

Integrate SAP FICO with PS, PM, MM, IS-U, and SCM modules

Contribute to finance strategy, reporting systems, and regulatory requirements specific to utilities
Key Qualifications:

8+ years of SAP Finance experience across GL, AR, AP, AA, CO, etc.

Experience leading large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementations

Functional and technical experience with finance and cost accounting processes

Strong familiarity with SAP integrations across IS-U, MM, CS, EWM, PS

Understanding of Power & Utilities finance regulations is a plus

SAP Certifications highly preferred

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Computer Science (MBA a strong asset)

Experience with Datasphere, SAC, and Analysis for Office is a bonus
Additional Details:

Travel to Winnipeg is mandatory (50–70%)

Must be flexible with on-site scheduling

This is a client-facing leadership role requiring excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
