SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) Senior Consultant
Join us at Westernacher Consulting as a SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) Senior Consultant . We are looking to expand our team in the Americas with a talented professional who enjoys working on interesting projects in a thriving partnership organization.
Your responsibilities:
- Customize and configure SAP GTS modules to meet trade compliance and international trade requirements.
- Lead or support SAP GTS project implementations, including requirements gathering, design, testing, and post-implementation support.
- Manage import/export compliance, customs declarations, restricted party screening, and other trade compliance processes within SAP GTS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP GTS with SAP TMS, SAP ERP, S/4HANA, and external systems.
- Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, business processes, and user guides.
- Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders for effective system utilization.
- Stay updated on SAP GTS features and industry best practices to suggest process improvements.
- Resolve technical issues within SAP GTS, collaborating with SAP support as needed.
- Assist in pre-sales activities, including demos and system integrations to showcase capabilities to prospective clients.
Your skills and experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP GTS configuration and implementation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science; degrees in Supply Chain Management, IT, Business Administration, or related fields are advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of trade compliance regulations and processes.
- Experience with SAP TMS is a plus.
