We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically strong SAP Licensing Expert to join our team in Germany. This is a key role, and the responsibilities will be to support both internal teams and selected customers. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with SAP license management tools, a strong understanding of licensing models, and the ability to coach others on complex licensing matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the roadmap and prioritization of the Flexera SAP products
  • Develop and maintain the License Intelligence contents of the Snow Optimizer for SAP Software
  • Ensure all relevant products and licenses are correctly maintained within the SOS contract management system
  • Collaborate with the wider team to define and refine the technical strategy for SAP licensing and optimization
  • Provide coaching and knowledge sharing to engineering and delivery teams on SAP licensing principles, compliance, and best practices
  • Deliver a limited set of SAP licensing services to selected customers, ensuring accurate licensing assessments and strategic guidance
  • Monitor changes in SAP licensing models and provide recommendations for internal process or tooling updates

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in SAP licensing management
  • Prior knowledge of SAP license management tools
  • Familiarity with contract management and licensing compliance processes
  • Ability to interpret SAP agreements and translate them into actionable licensing rules and system configurations
  • Excellent communication and coaching skills, with the ability to train technical and non-technical teams
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Fluent in German and English

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a consulting, software asset management, or license compliance role
  • Technical background in SAP architecture or software deployment is a plus
  • Experience working in an enterprise environment with complex licensing scenarios
