Capgemini is seeking a seasoned SAP PP/DS Consultant to support enterprise clients in optimizing their manufacturing and supply chain operations. The successful candidate will lead implementations of advanced planning and scheduling capabilities using SAP PP/DS within SAP S/4HANA or SAP IBP/APO environments. This role focuses on bridging business requirements with technical solutions to ensure efficient use of manufacturing resources and drive digital supply chain transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement SAP PP/DS solutions for demand management, material planning, and capacity scheduling.
- Configure and customize PP/DS functionalities (heuristics, finite scheduling, pegging strategies, and optimizer).
- Integrate PP/DS with SAP modules such as PP, MM, and APO/IBP.
- Collaborate with supply chain stakeholders to gather requirements and design scalable system solutions.
- Lead and contribute to end-to-end implementations, upgrades, and rollouts.
- Conduct unit testing, system integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Optimize planning processes through automation and industry best practices.
- Provide post-go-live support, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

Integration with SAP MM and PP modules, automation of planning processes, understanding of manufacturing execution systems (MES).

Unit and integration testing, UAT support, go-live readiness, post-implementation support, system performance tuning.
Methodologies & Delivery
Full-cycle SAP implementation, upgrade and rollout experience, best practices in digital supply chain transformation.
Soft Skills
Strong analytical mindset, stakeholder collaboration, effective communication, problem-solving, ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $53.16/hour – $83.07/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits.
