YOURROLE
Are you looking to apply your accounting expertise in a dynamic environment where you can play an active role in improving workflows and processes? NEUF is currently seeking a Senior Accounting Technician to join its accounting team.
Workingdirectly with the Director of Finance and Administration, you will play anactive role in daily financial operations and month-end processes, acting as akey figure in the accounting cycle of a growing company. Additionally, you willsupport the accounting team by participating in the implementation of our newERP system Deltek Vantagepoint . Prior experience and knowledge of thisERP is very important for this role.
YOUR DAYTO DAY
- Perform project-basedaccounting in a multi-company environment (60%);
- Collect and prepare invoices,including validation and assignment to projects;
- Manage accounts payable,prepare invoices, and process payments;
- Assist with payroll processingfor 250 employees in QC and ON (30%);
- Diligently validate timesheets;
- Contribute to implementing andimproving internal control procedures, including drafting new procedures;
- Provide daily support to theaccounting team.
Requirements
YOURSKILLS
- DEP or DEC in accounting;
- 10 years of experience in asimilar role;
- Project accounting;
- Proficient in advanced Exceltools and functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, SUMIF, SORT, Pivot Tables, etc.).
ASSETS
- Accreditation from the NationalPayroll Institute ;
- Knowledge of Power BI;
- Experience with DeltekVantagepoint ERP system.
