About the role
The Senior Analyst, eCommerce Performance Optimization, will synthesize large data sets and communicate insights to guide strategic decisions. This role involves collecting and analyzing data, developing marketing insights, and making optimization recommendations.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with front-end digital analytics tools (such as Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics) and strong business acumen. They will drive understanding of digital behavior and identify opportunities to improve the digital experience and performance across Dyson.com and traffic-driving media channels.
Main Responsibilities
- Proactively monitor the eCommerce platform for changes in customer behavior and communicate insights clearly to drive business changes.
- Investigate issues and propose solutions by analyzing data from various sources, including analytics, customer feedback, and session replay tools.
- Collaborate with the eCommerce team to develop and analyze multi-variant and A/B tests.
- Ensure the integrity of digital data by maintaining tagging strategies across digital properties.
- Create visual reports to highlight performance, trends, and actionable insights.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and analytics platform changes, assessing their impact on current programs.
- Work with product marketing to understand customer preferences and create cross-channel customer journeys.
- Partner with the Media team to measure channel performance and identify opportunities for audience engagement improvements.
About you
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field.
- 3-5 years in digital analytics, with understanding of user journeys and digital usability.
- Proficient in web analytics tools like Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics.
- Experience with testing tools such as Adobe Target.
- Intermediate skills in MS Excel; knowledge of Python or Tableau is a plus.
- Proven track record of identifying digital optimization opportunities and translating insights into campaigns.
- Strong storytelling skills to communicate complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to test, verify, and debug analytics data for quality assurance.
- Skilled in data visualization and report creation.
- Knowledge of data management, multi-channel marketing, and conversion optimization.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with daily execution.
- Awareness of digital trends and optimization best practices.
- Proactive, creative, and problem-solving mindset.
- High attention to detail, urgency, and professionalism.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with agile methodologies is preferred.
