As a Senior Developer, you will work with colleagues on the PC express backend Team, which builds backend services supporting our online grocery sites and apps. You will have exposure to every aspect of the software development cycle and are encouraged to express your opinions and challenge assumptions.
What You’ll Do
- Write backend API to prepare and serve data for the front-end application.
- Construct design documents and documentation to aid in maintenance and code reuse.
- Lead solution design sessions to create design diagrams and documentation.
- Write unit, integration, and load performance tests to ensure product quality.
- Coach and mentor Junior Developers and lead code review sessions.
Does This Sound Like You?
- You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in backend or full-stack software development. Our stack includes Java , Spring Boot , Terraform , Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes , GitLab CI/CD pipeline, Firebase, Postgres, NodeJS, React (Nice to have).
- You are passionate about crafting elegant solutions and integrating cloud services to optimize architecture design.
- You have a hunger to learn and are open to change, constantly seeking to improve yourself, our team, and our products.
- You are responsible, a team player, and eager to learn new technologies.
