Job Responsibilities:
- Lead contract negotiation processes and build strong collaborative relationships internally and externally to drive results within tight deadlines.
- Draft, review, and negotiate business contracts to support the company’s objectives and policies; analyze significant business, financial, and legal risks; develop and communicate creative solutions and mitigation strategies for key negotiation points.
- Collaborate with department representatives and firm leaders to understand upcoming contract needs for new deals and renewals; prioritize deal support; implement legal strategies focusing on high-value activities.
- Initiate, draft, administer, negotiate, analyze, revise, close, and track contracts.
- Lead the preparation, negotiation, and administration of commercial customer contracts.
- Ensure proper contract fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
- Maintain knowledge of FAR/DFARS and accounting practices, including audits, rates, and contract cost data analysis.
- Guide project and program managers to ensure contractual compliance with all awarded contracts.
- Support executives by reviewing government solicitations to analyze protocols and resources needed for compliance.
- Participate in proposal preparation, review, and bid/no-bid analysis.
- Review, interpret, and recommend acceptance, revisions, exceptions to contracts and modifications to ensure consistency with proposed prices, delivery schedules, specifications, and terms.
- Align key contracts, procurement initiatives, and sourcing strategies with the firm’s legal priorities, emphasizing privacy/data security and risk management.
- Provide legal advice on corporate matters and governance.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations in the Latecoere Americas region, focusing on Canada and the USA.
