About the Opportunity
Working with a large, established organization, we have the good fortune of recruiting for a critical role in compensation/total rewards. This role would see the successful candidate play a key role in areas such as benefits and pension administration, pay equity, rewards and recognition. This role also contributes to policy development and implementation consistent with overall management philosophy.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Develops and oversees the execution of compensation programs including salaries, performance bonuses, recognition rewards and other competitive programs
- Participates as subject matter expert to the Human Resources and Payroll team and provides guidance and support where needed
- Collaborates with Human Resources to teach employees about their benefits, pension and compensation entitlements
- Works with external partners for health, disability programs group insurance and manages internal processes
- Designs and delivers ongoing educational and awareness sessions to management on total reward programs
- Contributes to the organizations Governance initiatives and various HR projects
About You
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Post secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law or other relevant discipline
- Relevant designation in HR such as CHRP/ CHRL or Certified Benefits or Compensation Specialist
- A minimum of three to five years of relevant experience in Total Rewards as a sole focus
- Knowledge of best practices in compensation principles together with the design and implementation of competitive compensation plans
- Experience working with DB & DC pensions
- Business and Financial acumen with strong analytical skills
- Bilingual French/English is conserved a strong asset
About the Job
This position is a full time/permanent position offering $90,000-$115,000 with a comprehensive benefits package. This client is conveniently located downtown and offers a hybrid work environment with flexibility. Moreover, this position offers the opportunity to work in a large organization with established compensation structure allowing innovation and positive, rewarding interaction with employees.
