Position: Senior Compliance Analyst

Location: Etobicoke, Ontario

Job Description: The Senior Compliance Analyst ensures IMM compliance with Sarbanes Oxley, SOC, ISAE3402, CSAE3416, SSAE16, and internal audit standards. The role involves reviewing IMM areas for compliance, developing solutions for compliance and business requirements, and interacting with various business and legal teams globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and control compliance processes and transactions, collaborating with business units and IT to resolve issues and ensure timely corrective actions.
  • Apply compliance and risk controls, report issues, and conduct risk assessments.
  • Monitor reports for fraudulent activity, report to authorities, and ensure compliance with regulations like SOX, AML, Privacy laws, and others.
  • Participate in risk management, develop risk assessments, and oversee compliance programs including regulatory changes and incident reporting.
  • Provide guidance on regulatory matters, review compliance activities, and implement policies supporting legal and regulatory changes.
  • Analyze activity trends, work with vendors and regulators, and oversee product compliance related to international money movement.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum five years in audit, compliance, or financial services operations, with relevant certifications preferred.
  • Understanding of banking systems, financial transactions, and compliance standards.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and project management skills.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field; Master’s or certifications preferred.
