Our Government Client is seeking a Senior Data Science Developer to design, build, and modernize cloud-based data and analytics solutions. The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in Azure, data engineering, and programming to support enterprise-wide data transformation initiatives.

Job Description:
Must Haves:

5+ years’ experience working in Azure environments

5+ years’ data engineering experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Databricks
-
5+ years’ programming experience with Python and SQL
Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with product teams to analyze requirements and design, code, and implement cloud-based data and analytics products

Develop and maintain cloud-based data lakes, lakehouses, automated pipelines, and analytics models
-
Partner with IT teams to implement solutions, resolve issues, and support business partners in effective product use

Analyze complex technical challenges, recommend solutions, and optimize performance

Lead migration of legacy data pipelines from Synapse Analytics and ADF to modern Databricks-based solutions leveraging Delta Lake
-
Contribute to the development of reusable frameworks and standards to streamline pipeline creation

Participate in code reviews, enforce quality standards, and share knowledge to strengthen team collaboration
