How You’ll Contribute:
We are seeking a strategic operator and people-first leader to build, lead, and scale our Canada based Engineering division within Diversified’s Global Capability Center (GCC) model. This is a senior leadership role focused not on deep technical architecture, but on creating organizational clarity, operational maturity, and scalable documentation practices across a growing remote-first team.
The Senior Director will directly manage the Canadian engineering team (20 engineers), working in partnership with counterparts in India and the U.S., and serving as the local executive presence for engineering operations in Canada. This role will also own the global documentation framework rollout—starting in Canada and extending to all regions—ensuring best practices, automation, and sustainability are embedded into engineering workflows worldwide.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the day-to-day operations, performance, and development of the Canadian engineering team.
- Serve as the senior engineering leader in Canada and trusted partner to local Ops, HR, and cross-functional teams.
- Scale the Canadian GCC into a center of excellence—aligned with business needs, engineering workflows, and global standards.
- Foster a resilient, pride-driven team culture with a bias for ownership, clarity, and continuous learning.
Global Documentation & Operational Maturity
- Design, implement, and govern a scalable documentation framework that reduces
- redundancy and enables global collaboration.
- Partner with engineering, quality, and operations leaders to build and enforce best
- Champion the use of AI and automation to streamline documentation, accelerate
- onboarding, and improving knowledge
