Your role, your impact
Alithya’s Mainframe Modernization team is seeking experienced individuals to help modernize legacy applications. As a Senior Full-Stack Java Developer, you will collaborate with experts throughout the code modernization process, enhancing performance, scalability, and sustainability of client applications. You will work closely with an Agile team, delivering continuous value and seeing the real-world impact of your contributions.
Your day-to-day
- Lead development efforts by translating complex requirements into architecture and design;
- Design solutions;
- Mentor junior and intermediate developers;
- Contribute to architectural decisions;
- Establish coding standards and conduct code reviews.
Keys to your success
- Bachelor’s degree in software development or equivalent;
- Over 5 years of professional software development experience;
- Expertise in Java, Spring, and Angular;
- Knowledge of JVM, multithreading, performance tuning, databases, cloud architecture, and development tools;
- Strong understanding of software architecture and design principles;
- Effective problem-solving skills;
- Leadership and communication skills.
Extra edge
- Experience leading system design or architecture;
- Mentoring or team leadership experience;
- Experience with microservices and cloud technologies.
Language Skills
- Proficient in French and English.
