Your Opportunity
BDO Canada is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join our Accounting Advisory Services. This role focuses on delivering expert guidance on complex accounting matters. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to provide innovative, sector-specific solutions supporting financial reporting and business needs.
Spearhead Accounting Advisory assignments across IFRS and US GAAP, ensuring successful project completion.
Engage in business development by identifying and cultivating opportunities to expand advisory services.
Design solutions that meet and exceed client expectations through collaboration and innovation.
Provide expert advice on accounting standards application, including report drafting, presentation creation, assisting clients with financial statement preparation, and liaising with auditors.
Stay informed on the latest in financial reporting standards, securities, regulatory shifts, and business trends to give informed advice.
Build meaningful connections within and across BDO service lines to enhance collaboration.

Your experience and education
You hold your CPA designation.
You have at least 10 years of experience in a technical role, accounting advisory, or core audit, focusing on technical accounting issues.
You are proficient in IFRS and US GAAP standards, with a good understanding of public company requirements.
You are skilled in report writing and delivering presentations, including developing relevant materials.
You possess effective time management and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects with competing deadlines.
