Reporting to the VP of Operations, the primary responsibilities of this role include managing day-to-day operations with external manufacturers and leading projects with internal cross-functional teams and contract manufacturing suppliers. This role is responsible for all service, quality, and cost parameters for the product categories they own, ensuring business continuity by leading team meetings, facilitating issue resolution, and supporting collaboration efforts between Open Farm and suppliers. The ideal candidate is ambitious, passionate about project management, supplier relations, supply chain, and working with a collaborative team.
In this role, you will:
- Design supply chain strategy for the product categories you own, ensuring a resilient supply chain that supports growth while meeting key fill rate and margin targets.
- Manage relationships with manufacturing partners, ensuring high-quality, timely, and complete delivery through active KPI management and business reviews.
- Collaborate with the Innovation team to successfully launch new products.
- Communicate changes to existing products and coordinate change management processes between internal and external teams.
- Assist in maintaining appropriate inventory levels (raw, packaging, finished goods) and satisfactory service levels, shared with production planners.
- Participate in the preparation, facilitation, and execution of ideation meetings for co-manufacturing improvement projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- 4-5 years of experience in the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industry; pet industry experience is preferred.
- Proven project management skills, with results reliant on cross-functional and external stakeholder alignment.

- Strong analytical skills to identify key issues and make goal-oriented decisions.
- Ability to act as a brand ambassador, representing the company with authenticity and enthusiasm.

Hybrid Work
We believe in collaboration, meaningful connections, and enjoying our work together—including with furry friends! Our hybrid approach requires employees to be in the Toronto office at least two days per week (Tuesdays and Thursdays), with three consecutive days onsite at the end of each month. This approach may evolve over time based on team and business needs.
