GFT is seeking a Senior Municipal Engineer – Drainage to join our Transportation Group . This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring regular attendance at our Toronto, Ontario office.

What You’ll Be Challenged To Do:
- Lead and deliver various tasks/contracts with local clients including MTO, Metrolinx, and municipal agencies.
- Execute design and technical services for civil/site, municipal servicing, stormwater management, hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, stream restoration, and related projects.
Education & Experience:
- B.S. in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Water Resources Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer license in Ontario (P.Eng.).
- 15+ years of civil site design experience, including stormwater management, permitting, and BMPs.
What You Will Bring:
- Leadership in complex technical projects and client engagement.
- Ability to manage and mentor staff, foster communication.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with wet utilities design and construction.
- Knowledge of Ontario regulatory environment.
- Proficiency with Civil3D/MicroStation, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, Bentley software.
