Role: Senior Principal Consultant, Windows Administrator

The role involves supporting and remediating vulnerabilities, managing Windows systems, virtualization, and troubleshooting critical IT systems.

  • Expertise in configuring and administering Windows Server 2008/2012/2016/2022.
  • Understanding of Exchange 2016 and Office 365.
  • Maintaining physical and VM servers (HP SimpliVity) for maximum uptime.
  • Troubleshooting Windows OS issues and handling escalated L3 issues.
  • Knowledge of Windows security, Active Directory, and network infrastructure.
  • Providing third-level support, security policy implementation, and virus protection.
  • Participating in system builds, upgrades, migrations, and patch management.
  • Documenting technologies, standards, and procedures.
  • Managing server consolidation with VMware ESX, creating VMs, and scheduling tasks.
  • Assisting in P2V and V2V conversions using VMware tools.
  • Monitoring VM resources for security compliance.
  • Hardware troubleshooting using ILO and HP SIM.
  • Configuring and troubleshooting Exchange Server with Enterprise Vault/Archiving.
  • Knowledge of Blackberry console and hardware firmware upgrades.
  • Performing performance optimization and health checks.
  • Racking and stacking HP ProLiant and Dell PowerEdge servers.
  • Creating VMware VMs per client specifications.
  • Supporting production on-call rotations and maintaining SLAs.
  • Handling incidents and requests, providing escalation support, and managing projects.
  • Willingness to work varying shifts.

Qualifications

Minimum: Graduate or postgraduate in Technology, Computer Science, IT, or related fields.

Preferred Skills: Strong analytical/problem-solving skills, communication, ability to work under pressure, on-call availability, domain knowledge, ITIL, and troubleshooting expertise.
