Our Government Client is seeking a Senior Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) Specialist to provide expertise in health privacy and compliance across critical EHR Modernization initiatives. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor, ensuring privacy requirements are embedded into systems, policies, and operations.

Job Description:
Must Haves:
-
5+ years of health privacy experience conducting PIAs on medium-to-high complexity projects
-
5+ years of operational-level privacy experience in a health sector and/or IT environment
-
5+ years of experience developing privacy policies, procedures, or controls
-
5+ years of familiarity with EMR or HIS infrastructure, design, and data flows
-
5+ years of knowledge of IT concepts impacting personal information protection (e.g., internet tools, interfaces, information security, data flows)
Responsibilities:

Conduct PIAs, identify privacy risks, and provide actionable recommendations

Develop and implement privacy policies, procedures, and requirements
-
Provide privacy advice, training, and legislative interpretation under PHIPA and FIPPA
-
Support investigations of incidents, inquiries, and access/consent management requests

Serve as the privacy SME on committees and project teams

Build strong stakeholder relationships to promote a culture of privacy

Contribute to privacy program improvements and Office initiatives
