Job Description
We have an immediate opportunity for a dedicated individual to join us as a Senior Refinery and Sustainability Engineer, reporting to the Chief Development Officer.
This is a hybrid role based in our Ottawa office. You will work in our Ottawa office a minimum of two days a week. Working remotely will require you to have reliable internet access and a home office that provides a productive, professional, and safe work environment during regular working hours. To succeed in this role and in a hybrid work environment, you will need to be a proactive communicator and self-starter and have strong time management and organizational skills.
The Senior Refinery and Sustainability Engineer provides technical expertise and support relating to the implementation of our proprietary technology to make renewable fuels in refineries using biomethane as feedstock.
Responsibilities
- Analyses of process systems and operational data
- Development and implementation of systems for measurement and tracking
- Analysis, tracking, and reporting of GHG emissions from operations
- Development of (and/or support for) registrations and certifications of operations
- Selection, scheduling, and oversight of pipeline
