We’re looking for an Experienced Tailor (Bridal Focus) – Contract Position
Location: Downtown Toronto (Fashion District)
Type: Contract | In-studio only
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in bridal or formal wear alterations
• Ability to work on head-to-toe alterations with precision and efficiency
• Strong hand and machine sewing skills
• Great eye for detail, clean finishing, and ability to follow specifications
• English speaking, punctual, and reliable
• Comfortable collaborating with a team of fitters and tailors
• Strong work ethic and ability to deliver on time
• Positive attitude and respect for studio standards and atmosphere
• Must have a valid permit to work in Canada
What You’ll Do:
• Tailor and alter bridal gowns and evening wear with care and skill
• Collaborate with fitters to translate fitting notes into perfect execution
• Support occasional rush adjustments or small studio needs
• Help maintain a professional, kind, and clean working environment
